I've only got one pad by Obsidian- a nice festive Christmas velvet circle pad.. but I love it!
The velvet is funny to get used to.. but otherwise, quite cozy!

I only have one of these, a cute purple (naturally) hello kitty panty liner and I love it. It can be worn either side up and has washed and worn very well. It does need a quick touch up with an iron after laundering. Its one of those pads that you smile when you see it !

I have two pantyliners from Obsidian, one Christmas liner, and then a deluxe liner which is a bit thicker than the Christmas one. First of all, coming from Australia, I was so surprised by how fast I received them. They were wrapped in beautiful purple paper, with a dried flower (which I think was lavendar) and a nice notecard. I have worn the deluxe pantyliner with a light flow, and so far no leaks- I have to say I am really impressed with it. On both liners, the stitching is great. Sometimes I worry about serged pads as they can be a bit scratchy, but the thread she used is so soft that I can't even feel the stitching. The materials the pads are made out of-especially the deluxe liner- are probably the softest I have felt on a pad yet. And the shape is a really good one- with the pointed wings, they cover the sides well, but then at the bottom where it snaps, there is no extra bulk like you can have with other pads- just genius! These are quality pads, and I'm very happy with them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Obsidian's pads to anyone and I rated them a five!

I have 2 pantyliners and one regular sized pad which arrived with a booster liner. The pads arrived quickly, sent to the U.K. I received an e-mail informing me that the pads had been sent which was helpful. The pads arrived packaged beautifully, I felt like I received a gift when I unwrapped them!
The pantyliners are very soft and comfortable and wash very well. The regular pad with booster was described on the website as a second, however it was very well made and I was pleased with the quality when it arrived. It is also very absorbant and washes very well. No leaks!
For customer service, quality of pads, look and feel of pads I rate 5.

I have afew Obsidian Star pads. They were my first cloth pad purchase Smile
My o'nite PUL backed pads are my trusties on heavy days as well as nights. I can wear them under jeans no worries!
The advice and knowledge that is given, is great. Especially when just starting out.
A1 customer service. Big thumbs up

I have a very nice Obsidian liner and more on the way. The liner is very comfortable and covers very well. She gives very good care instructions and customer service. The shipping from Australia is very fast. She makes quality liners that are definately worth having in your stash!

A 5!
I have two pads of Obsidian's work !
One is a heavy flow pad that is the pocket style with organic cotton. I'm not really a fan of pocket pads since they can be bulky and the "shell" that holds the inserts can be a little picky and needs ironing. However, the pad is very well made with perfect serging skills. Obsidian definitely knows about her materials.
I also have a gorgeous little 5" pantyliner. It's reversible with Bamboo velour and a gorgeous oriental print on the other. It's filled with all absorbent goodness! I keep wearing the bamboo velour side XD. This pad came to me rather quickly and was nicely wrapped with instructions included.
Quality work at an amazing price <3!

I really like these pads, they're pretty, comfortable, and are well constructed.
Customer Service - I thought it was good and received my package in a timely manner.
Workmanship - Great and durable, should last me years to come.
Comfort & Fit - They are soft and comfortable, though I think next time I'll need to order longer ones. I didn't realize the length would be as small as it was.
Look - Pretty design and the package was put together sweetly and carefully.
Durability - I've used these pads through 3 cycles and haven't had any issues, which is nice, because I have had pads actually fall apart on me after one washing.
Value for money - Fair prices for a good product.
Thank you!

I have two liners and I love them. Most of my liners are 8" so I was a little worried about buying 6" ones but I really like these. The sewing and the fabric are both great quality so I'm willing to pay the higher cost (I'm assuming it is because of the cost of fabric and the exchange rate). I can't wait for her to come back from her break because I could use a few more of these.

I have two mini pantyliners from Obsidian, and the small size works perfectly for me. They fit really well and are really comfortable.
They arrived beautifully packaged and the liners themselves were very well sewn and good quality. They also arrived within a week, which was a nice surprise as I wasn't expecting them so soon! Smile

I've purchased one mini (6") liner through Obsidian's Australian side.
Customer Service
I had no trouble with communication.
Workmanship
The pad is excellently made. There are no prominent loops hanging off the overlocked edges. The pad is very neat and even, particularly for an overlocked pad. I was impressed when I saw it.
Comfort & Fit
This liner is very comfortable. The pointed wings allow for a trim fit and the overlocked edges mean that the pad is very flat. Not a bulky liner at all, and I forget that I am wearing it. It's one of the first liners I go for after washing day.
Look
The pad I purchased has a nice print of cobwebs on violet on one side and plain flannel on the other. I have seen Obsidian offer some gorgeous prints in her stores.
Durability
This liner has been through more than a few washings already, and you can really tell that it is a quality-sewn pad. No significant amount of material came peeking out from under the overlocking. A loose string escaped from one wing, but I've trimmed that off. I can tell this is a pad that will last a long time.
Value for money
Reasonably priced for a very good quality pad. If I ever see any more of Obsidian's liners that take my fancy, I will be a repeat customer. I would definately recommend her pads.
My suggestion for the future: that what colour the material is to be expressly stated in the description. I purchased this pad thinking it was indigo (my favourite colour) but when I receieved the liner it was actually violet. Stating what colour the pad is in the description would help with different monitor settings.

i have some beautiful pads from Obsidian - i have a geisha girl AIO and it's one of my favorite pads.
Customer service is really great, and fast.
The shape suits me so well, the sewing is impeccable, and the placement of the print on the pad is fantastic. Very absorbent and trim, sturdy pad, it's been used for a year now and the print is still not showing any signs of fading. pad still looks new!

Re: Obsidian Star (AUS)
I have a few Obsidian Star pads, mostly pocket ones.
I really enjoy them, in particular the rainbow ones. They are very trim, very customisable (what word was I looking for there?? ) and SO easy to wash. When its cooler, these are the ones I turn to straight away, because even when its cold I can usually have them dry within a day. Plus, because they are flannelette, I can put them in the dryer to finish off if need be without worrying about PUL peeling.
One thing you will notice when ordering from Obsidian Star is how carefully packaged and wrapped your order is. It really feels like being given a present! Really makes you feel like a person who is being cared for, as opposed to just a number.

Re: Obsidian Star (AUS)
I agree wholeheartedly with all that has been said above! 5 out of 5!
Products: Impeccably sewn, beautiful fabric and really comfy to wear. Plenty of shapes and sizes to choose from, too. As long as you're not too picky about the patterns, you'll always be able to find what you need on the website.
Customer service: Really fast shipping and the sweetest packaging I've seen. After testing out the products by getting a starter kit, I recently went back and did a larger order and they sent me a free face scrubby - I was super pleased
I couldn't recommend Obsidian Star more highly, I'm so glad we have an Australian store to buy from.

Re: Obsidian Star (AUS)
I have looked in envy at her pads for a long time. Especially the fabric choices she has is amazing. Finally once I realized I could use her shape, I bought one pad plus a few pul liners (which I can't seem to find anyone who sells in the states). I love her liners. Sometimes they slide and I wouldn't mind if they were wider/longer but that might be due to my panties. They have helped me feel "safer" without the bulk of a thicker pad. I haven't used her pad for a menstrual cycle. I usually use it for everyday wear. It's comfy and I love the quality. I want more pul liners and I always think to myself, I could always make it but I know it would not be as good as Obsidan's.

Re: Obsidian Star (AUS)
This review is for labinni pads!
I wasn't sure which size to order so I emailed Obsidian. She was awesome at explaining the difference between the 2 sizes so I went ahead and ordered 3 'mini' sized bamboo velour labinnis. These are awesome! Almost every woman I know has used toilet paper between their labia at some point.. this product solves the dilemma of not having the necessary flow to really need an internal product but also not necessarily needing a full liner. They are also great for 'directing' flow during heavy flow days/nights!
Love them
I keep them in their own small pouch because they are TINY and I could see myself losing them.

5/5
I haven't come up with an actual review system yet :-) However let's leave it at 5/5 :-) Easier.
I contacted Obsidian a couple of months back, I bought some of her products and haven't 2nd guessed my decision!
Over the course of the last month Obsi & I have had a lot of communication, she's been generous with her time & energy, she has helped me choose products suitable to my needs. I've even tried a couple of new suggestions she gave to me, and wow, my opinion of Cloth Pads has certainly grown.
The quality of the products are terrific, I haven't had any problems laundering them, I haven't had a reaction to the material (I have skin allergies) the threads are strong, and the pads are absorbent & I feel secure using them.
I entrust Obsi that much that I don't actually care what colours I get now. I was adament I didn't want anything fancy, nor any light colours - however with how easy they are to use, to clean & to look after, I haven't had any problems. Now I just tell her "what ever you have available, but this is the style I want".
From a non-believer in CPs, I am a genuine convert and will steadily increase my stock.
