I have one of these pads (I assume it's a regular?) They are made so that the pad part is an oblong shape and the wings are overlocked (serged) into the seams, but done so that they start on the top and fold over the overlocked edge, so that you get the smoother wing against you, rather than the overlocked edge (if that makes sense). I suppose if you wanted to, you could wear it the other way up, so that the wings were under the pad too. Because they aren't made with waterproofing, and I normally need waterproofing, I would only wear this for light flow or as a cup backup, unless I wore a waterproofed booster under the pad, so I consider it more like a pantyliner, but it is very soft. My only real complaint with it is the wings snap around quite loosely, making the snapped width about 8cm (almost 3.25 inches), but the actual pad is about 7cm (2.75 inches), so I would find a second snap setting would make the pad snap a bit tighter, making it feel a bit more secure in the underpants and less wide.

I love these!

I have a whole set and they are way comfier than the other pads I've tried - I don't like the stretchy/furry fabrics or plastic backing that a lot of pads use! I do like the fabrics these pads use - which is cotton flannel and looks like really good quality (and they come in heaps of cute patterns, different colours etc).

The regular isn't thick enough for me on heavy days unless I include the insert that comes with the regular pad (which makes it way more absorbent - and the doesn't leak at all for me). But I particularly like the lighter pad options which I wear often as I often spot a little bit at all sorts of times during the month.

They also dry really quickly because they're kind of an origami design - so they actually open right out.
