MOST comfy and surprisingly thin pads for wearing out
I buy the PUL-backed Super-Soaker pads and I was amazed with how COMFY and surprisingly thin these pads are for the amount of absorption they have. Because of the unique design, the wings have less bulk than the pad. This super-thin and comfortable design makes this my absolute favorite pad for wearing out and about.
The pads can handle my ABSOLUTELY TORRENTIAL heavy flow just fine, except for one caveat: the sewing through the bottom layer of the pad causes leaks. HOWEVER, April has been a doll about modifying the pads for me so that there is no sewing through the pad, but only around the sides of the whole pad instead. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because this should be a feature of all of the pads. I'm beginning to regret this, though, because these pads and the seller are really, really excellent.
I have found that the flannel is great for absorption, preventing any leakage out to the sides of the pad. However, the cool designs sell out fast and the selection is limited, and I have found that many of the fabrics fade a little too rapidly with normal gentle washing and air drying. The sewing is nicely done.
Sometimes April takes a while to answer messages and report the order status, but that seems to have improved lately and she is really nice to work with.
