Lotus Pads (USA) Empty Lotus Pads

Post  ElizabethAnneBoleyn Tue Apr 10, 2012 10:04 pm

Love these pads! They are not really fancy, pretty basic, but do the job even better than I expected, and are easy to care for and very affordable!

Quality- Great! These pads are stitched well, the design is very functional, and the patterns are pretty darn cute. I own 5 of the light to moderate day pads, and they have held up nicely. No leaks, no problems. They are made of a combination of interlock knit, flannel, and hemp fleece and are super comfortable and stay in place very well. They are also available in organic cotton. Care is as easy as any other pad, and I have had no issues with staining. The light/moderate day pads are rather thin and still hold up beautifully for moderate flow. They also offer heavy and night time sizes, which I hope to be trying out soon! Since the pads are flannel and knit, they do look a bit worn after a few washes, but this does not affect the functionality of the pads in any way.

Price- Excellent. A 3 pack of the light/moderate day pads is $22 through the company's website (organic costs a bit more). I actually found a reseller who sells them a bit cheaper ($19- www.juliestuff.com - I also mentioned favorite colors to her, which she accomodated nicely). For those who are starting a stash, or need to build theirs on a budget, Lotus pads are wonderfully affordable. Single light/moderate pads are about $7-8, heavy are $8-9, and night time are $10-12 (again, depending if purchased from the company or another retailer). The 3 packs save you a little bit of money as well. But even purchased individually, these pads are quite affordable.

Customer Service- I have not purchased through the company site, although I have not heard anything bad about their customer service. The reseller I dealt with (website listed in price section above) was wonderful. Super fast shipping (and affordable!), good communication, and she went above and beyond meeting my requests for color preferences.

Overall, these pads are a wonderful add to any stash, and are an affordable way to build one. They are easy to use and care for, comfortable, and extremely functional. I recommend having a couple in your stash!
