PiMPs are definitely the most professional looking of any I've seen, and the prints are really nice! it really is a party in there. The nylon backing is a leak-proof wall I'd challenge any gal to soak through (you can't!) The snaps are quality, secure but easy enough to undo when it's time. They hold up well in the wash, but require a little extra water while wringing and rinsing because of the waterproof backing. My one complaint is that most items are too wide for me: while they fit my undies just fine, the shape of my thighs causes unavoidable bunching that is always sort of like an upside down lower case omega, with the absorbent side in, so I end up bleeding in two stripes along the edges. Also, at night the back edge of the longer pads slips to the side (though I'm a back sleeper), and I often bleed of the edge even wearing the queen. I might experiment with safety pins at some point, or just stick to dedicated period night undies, since it almost never gets past the underwear, and rarely past the pj pants.
For those reasons, I give it a 4 out of 5, but they still make up a substantial part of my collection. Also, the free liner for new customers is a great idea: that was the very first cloth product I ever tried, and it was enough to reel me in! And the little bite of chocolate tucked into the packaging is a lovely touch! <3

I can only go by the free pantyliner sample they sent me, but I do like it. When it arrived I sort of doubted it had any decent capacity, but it really held it's own. It stayed in place nicely and it felt like there was nothing there at all.

I probably won't be buying more unless I manage to get them on the cheap. They are a touch more expensive than I'd like.

Luci and Lydia run a tight ship, and I love that they provide lots of opportunities to get free or discounted pads through contests and promotions. The pads are well made, with no loose seams, though I did get one with sort of broken snaps, and the nylon isn't 100% waterproof. They're quite durable, as I've been using some of mine for upwards of two years, and they still look great. The notable feature of PIMPs is that they are ridiculously thin, thinner than "ultra thin" disposables, but more absorbent and available in stylish prints. They're pricey, but I really do think they're some of the best pads on the market. You have to be careful to check the widths of the pads, as the smaller ones can be quite narrow; ask for a free wing extender with your order if you're not sure how narrow your pads will be relative to your underwear. Additionally, because the backing is nylon, they will slip around if your underwear isn't quite snug, so keep that in mind, too.

I love the free pantyliner deal. I love how they will offer discounted ones every now and again. All the pimps I have are super cheap. I got two overnight pads that I got during the Japan awareness support. It's the only pad I trust for night time flow now. Other than that, I don't use my other pimps as much. They are getting to be bottom of my basket sort of deal. Although I always recommend their free pantyliner deal to any of the cloth curious. Freebies and seconds is how I grew my stash.

I've tried the 'mini' liner and 'overnight' styles of this brand.

The 'mini' liner was much too small for my 12-14 size frame and because the backing is smooth nylon instead of a material with more texture it tends to shift backwards during wear.

The overnight pad fits much better for my frame, yet still shifts a bit. These pads/liners are AMAZINGLY thin. I have a moderate flow and have never leaked through the overnight pad. The thin design is surprising more absorbent than I thought it would be but I personally like the 'security' / feeling of a slightly thicker pad.

PIMPs is not one of my favorite brands. They are priced pretty high ($10 for an itty bitty liner) and have the tendency to bunch up, despite adding the extra snap setting when ordering.

I would rate these a 4, taking 1 point off for the slippery backing that is prone to shifting and because of the 'bunching' issue. Customer service was great and the items were shipped very quickly in lovely packaging that included a yummy chocolate. These pads are also very 'professional' looking (great sewing!)

The 'free' liner is worth the price of shipping but I wouldn't recommend investing in more than 1-2 of these pads before trying them out first.

Party in my Pants (USA) Empty Party In My Pants

Post  ElizabethAnneBoleyn Sat Jan 28, 2012 12:18 am

Love these pads- SUPER thin and SUPER comfy.

Quality- Top notch stitching. Great quality fabrics (they offer flanellette, cotton, and organic cotton in a variety of prints). MANY sizes to choose from. I personally enjoy the larger pads, such as the Luxe liner (a larger sized pantyliner), the Large pad, and the overnight pad. The smaller liners tended to shift a little, but are still useful to me for everyday wear. These pads are super thin but VERY absorbant. I couldn't believe how much they would hold without any leaks whatsoever. The fabrics could possibly stain, but with proper soaking and care, I have yet to stain any of mine (knock on wood!).

Price- A bit expensive, but worth it! Purchasing the kits (of 3 or 6 pads) can save you some money. They also have specials from time to time, and have MANY giveaways on their facebook page. They also offer a liner sample for the cost of shipping. Shipping is very reasonable, and SUPER fast!

Customer Service- Outstanding. The company is run by two sisters, Luci and Lydia, and they are so wonderful. Expect a nice handwritten thank you note in every order (and they remember their continued customers!!!). Also, they inclde a lovely piece of dark chocolate in every order (it is SO yummy!). Their pads are also ready to ship, so you do not have to wait long at all, but are still customizable to size and desired print (not all fabrics are available for all pad sizes, but trust me, you will have no problem finding something or many somethings that you want!). The website is great and super easy to navigate and order. Also, they offer a free sample of OxoBrite oxygen cleaner for pads in every order (you have to select it on the menu, but it's amazing stuff!).

I love these pads. They are excellent for women who want a thinner, less noticeable pad. I forget I'm wearing them at times. My best friend tried a couple pads that I gave her, and these were the only ones she liked! Highly recommend having them!

Party in my Pants (USA) Empty Thin and sooo pretty!

Post  splattitude Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:45 am

PIMPs was one of three brands I chose to try when making the switch from tampons to reusable pads, and I love them. They are really, really thin, and I can wear them with anything, but they hold their own beautifully, and so far, nary a leak to be had! I corresponded with Melissa, who was extremely helpful, and all of my questions were patiently answered. There are so many gorgeous patterns to choose from (I'd love to know where they find their fabrics) and I always feel great when I put one on. I chose the Deluxe Starter Kit, which includes an overnight, large and luxe liner. I've recently ordered another of the same kit, and these pads are a perfect fit for my more-than-ample 18-20 frame. I also love their pantiliners, and the way the pads fold into convenient pockets.

Hint to first-time orderers:
Like a Star @ heaven You can still claim your free pantiliner with your order; this saves on shipping.
Like a Star @ heaven Order an extra snap and a wing extender the first time, so that they'll fit your panties perfectly and you'll know for sure what to do next time. (Because these snaps are common on pads, you may be able to use the extender with other brands as well, if you're wearing boy-cuts or bigger panties.)
Like a Star @ heaven make sure to get an Oxo brite sample; it works wonderfully and it's free. Also, if you like the pads, get a Tell A Friend Kit and share the love

I live in Asia, so the single downside is the $9.99 international shipping fee, although this is sometimes reduced in sales and promotions.

Party in my Pants (USA) Empty Thinnest Cloth Pads Available

Post  blisslightjoy Sat Mar 24, 2012 9:23 pm

The #1 thing these pads have going for them: they are super thin. Definitely the thinnest pads I've found, and I've spent a lot of time looking for thin pads!

Pros:
1)Thin. The "small" pads are nearly as thin as the micro-thin liners!
2)Professional. Great quality, great customer service.
3)Reliable leak protection, yet still breathable. (Nylon more breathable than PUL, another popular waterproof backing).

Cons:
1)The nylon backing makes these pads slip around and bunch/crinkle in a way I don't like. It's a very stiff, slippery fabric.

----
I LOVED these pads when I first started out. Then I realized there were a few thicker but overall more comfortable pads available. I do find that I have less of a bunching/slipping concern with my larger pads (the super pad and luxe liner), compared to my smaller pads: the mini liner and small pad. I found that the small pads tend to bunch in an uncomfortable way as well as slide around, so I'm never sure the pad is in the right place to catch my flow!

I gave PIMPS a 5. They are my favorite pads.

Beautiful fabrics, well made, very absorbant and best of all they are the thinnest pads I have found. I cant imagine a pad being any thinner than these. These are the pads I wear when I am leaving the house if you know what I mean.

Customer Service: excellent and shipping is fast, always quick to reply with any questions
Workmanship: excellent, beautifully made
Comfort & Fit: So comfortable mainly because they are so thin. It took me a while to find the right fit and I find I like many different sizes that they sell for different needs and days. I basically have them all and use them all. I bought their very nice postpartum pads but didn't get to use them because I had an extended hospital stay. Sometimes the pads can move around a little (i've only really found this to be true with the mini pantyliners but they are still my favorite liner so far). I like both the flannel and the regular cotton although flannel is softer.
Look: Gorgeous and fun fabrics, consistently the best range of fabric choices
Durability: So far have held up wonderfully after many trips trough the washer and dryer.
Value for money: a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

I have a few PIMP pads in different sizes. I save them for when I am wearing tight clothing and don't want my pad to show. I do wish the backing wasn't made of a slippery material, but the wings are wide enough that the pads stay in place okay. They aren't my absolute favorite pads, but they are some of the cutest, and they are the first I would recommend for anyone skeptical of using cloth pads.

I do love this pad company! Their customer service is the best I have come across in a long time. Really fast shipping and a great product.

I own 2 pantyliners, an overnight pad, a small pad and a medium pad. They are super super thin which I love and was what I set out to find once I had decided to switch to cloth (i was an ultra thin gal) I have used these for just one cycle so far and I will most likey only use these when I have to wear a fitted type suit trouser (i.e only when I need a super trim pad) I find the nylon backing sweats me quite a lot. The first time I used one of their panty liners, I had to question myself on whether I peed my pants or not, it was soaked with sweat (tmi I know) The pads aren't as sweaty as the liners (probably because of the extra absorbency to hold the sweat) The only other thing I don't really like is the fact that they can move around in your underwear quite a bit due to the nylon backing.

Apart from that, they are super super absorbent and really soft and I do love the fact that they are so thin. I don't think you can get the same thinness without the waterproof backing so I'm willing to compromise Smile

Party in my Pants (USA) Empty Calling all ultra thin lovin' ladies!

Post  Stiched in tyme Mon Oct 07, 2013 3:52 pm

I give Party In My Pants a 4.96 stars.

I LOVE how ultra, ultra, ultra thin Party In My Pants Pads are! They are super comfy! Definitely in my top 3 favorites for ultra, ultra thin cloth pads. And I will be buying more! If you wore ultra thin Always brand disposables, you will probably love Party In My Pants! Party In My Pants has organic cotton options, which is what I buy. It does cost more. But I prefer to have organic cloth next to me. ;-) I do like Party In My Pants a lot. These were one of the first premium brands that I tried and I was blown away by how thin they were and how extremely comfortable PIMPS are. I LOVE that I can't feel them in my underpants! They melt into my underwear! I love Party In My Pants, they are in my top 3  favorites.  So I will buy more from them when I see a cute print!

Sewing 5 stars
Prints 5 stars
Absorbency 5 stars
Customer Service 5+++ stars
I ordered 4 pad sizes to try on a Monday and I received them in the mail on a Thursday. I was so surprised. I called customer service, and found out that they were already pre-made. Wow!

Sewing 5 stars
All my pads are so professional! I would never known they were hand made by two sisters!

Prints 5 stars
Party In My Pants gets some of the cutest prints ever. I love that I can get organic cotton, regular cotton or flannel (for fast flow).

Absorbency 5 stars
Party In My Pants pads comes in two absorbencies. The website shows the absorbencies range from one to seven blood dropplets. The customer service representative explained: the small pad, medium pad, large pad and over night pad all have the exact same number of layers of absorbent core and the same absorbent core. The only difference is, how long the pad is which in turn, increases the area of cloth the blood can flow on to. This extra area of cloth increases "absorbency." The only two pads that have 2 extra layers of absorbent core are the super pad and the queen pad. Those would be fine for overnight or postpartum. I have a super pad. On my heaviest night, I crashed, and woke up 14 hours later and I did NOT have a leak wearing the super pad. What a trooper! I have never had a leak with my Party In My Pants small pads either because I do change them whenever I use the restroom. I really enjoy Party In My Pants pads! I enjoy how slim and thin they are.

Free liner for curious to cloth newbies = 5 stars
I took advantage of the free liner with my first order. I was so surprised that a company would give me something to try for free. I think I only had to pay shipping. To me it says, that Party In My Pants is confident that you will love their product. And I do. ;-) I repeat I really, really do love Party In My Pants pads! They are perfect for a petite women, a regular sized women or a curvy women.

Sizes = 5 stars
Party In My Pants comes in many sizes. Personally, because I am a very petite woman, I like the 7 inch mini liner and 7 inch small pad. I like that they are discrete and very, very, very thin. The breathable waterproof nylon backing won't shift on me, if I wear tight undies and tight skinny jeans. But if I wear a skirt they will shift back and forth very, very, slightly. But not so much that is terribly annoying. The trade off is worth it because they are so stinken slim and thin!

That said, I do opt to wear a Party In My Pants pad when I am exercising with a tight pair of lycra shorts.  Or with a tight pair of skinny jeans. The nylon backing breaths very well. I do not find it to be hot. And I live in a very, very hot and humid part of Texas.

I have tried the mini liner, small, medium, and super pad. I only wear the longer pads at night. I have never had a leak with any of my Party In My Pants pads. I change them whenever I go to the restroom. I really do enjoy the size ranges.

Fit
You can have an extra snap put on any of the pads to make them more narrow or order an extender if you need them more wide. Customization is so easy!

Ultra, ultra, ultra Thin 5 stars
These are paper thin at 1/8 of an inch and very absorbent. I have no complaints. I love that Party In My Pants disappear in my underwear and that I don't feel them! Love, love, love them!

I can't recommend Party In My Pants enough. You get what you pay for. My prints still look brand new. And I love that I can buy organic cotton tops and absorbent cores. My flannelette super pad also is so soft and still looks new months later.

Party in my Pants (USA) Empty Not such a fan...

Post  GSD Gal Thu Jul 24, 2014 4:21 pm

The only reason I gave this company a 2 is because they have wonderful customer service. As soon as I mentioned that I had not liked my sample liner in their survey, they contacted me to find out what I felt could have been changed.

I found that these liners slid backwards as soon as I started walking. I couldn't keep them in place, even with a second snap to make them tighter. I did like the flannel material they used on top, but the leakproof material just was too slippery and not as flexible as I would have preferred. I have added it to the bottom of my pile for an emergency, but otherwise no longer use it.
